Homemaker Services - tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, laundry, and
light housekeeping.
Personal Care - assistance with self-administered medications, feeding,
grooming, bathing, toileting, transfer activities, and ambulation.
Attendant Care - Available to adults under the age of 60, who are mentally
alert and physically disabled, live as independently as possible in their own
homes and seek or maintain employment.
Respite Care - Personal Care and assistance with the activities of daily
living provided on a short term basis because of those persons normally
providing the services' absence or need for relief.
Service Coordination - Ensures maximum consumer independence by intake
services, needs assessment, and making certain of the coordination of medical,
educational, and other services.
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) - Tasks we perform on a daily routine such as
feeding, bating, dressing, and grooming ourselves. The ability to carry out
these tasks can be used as a measure of ability/disability in may disorders.
