What are County HomeMakers?
County HomeMakers are trained, responsible adults that are available
to help you with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning,
errands, personal hygiene, medication prompting, and all the other
things to make your house a better home where you can stay.

Who is eligible for HomeMaker Services?
County HomeMakers was developed with providing home support
services to Pennsylvania's elderly population, however, there are
instances where non-medical home support may be needed at any
age level.  Therefore anyone can schedule HomeMaker services.

How do I schedule Services?
Services are available Privately, scheduled at the main office, or
through Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Options, Insurance Contracts
and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA) Waiver Program.  

Who Pays for Services?
Depending upon your financial situation, services may be available to
you for FREE!

How do I find out more?
You may call County HomeMakers main office at (814) 371-5500 and
we will direct you to your local AAA.  They will assess your financial
situation and determine your eligibility for Pennsylvania state funding.  
After services are deemed necessary you may
choose County
HomeMakers as your service provider
.  If you are not eligible for
state aid, you can still receive services by contacting our office directly
to schedule and pay for homemaker services privately.
